QUALITY STANDARD
The 5 mandatory views
TrazaLab standardizes visual communication between lab and surgeon. You do not send "some design photos." You send 5 specific views that cover everything the surgeon needs to evaluate before approving fabrication.
STANDARDIZED VISUAL PROTOCOL
Each view has a specific clinical purpose. The surgeon knows exactly where to look to evaluate each design aspect. No ambiguity, no "can you send another photo from another angle?"
1. FRAMEWORK FRONTAL
Framework structure frontal view. Verifies symmetry, extension, and lip support.
2. OCCLUSAL
Top/bottom view of the design. Verifies arch, contour, and transverse dimensions.
3. OCCLUSAL CONTACTS
Contact map with opposing arch. Verifies force distribution and contact points.
4. DENTAL DESIGN
Individual teeth with full anatomy. Verifies shape, proportion, and smile line.
5. SCREW ACCESS
Screw access positions. Verifies palatal/lingual placement and alignment with implants.
Standardization: The system will not let you send designs to the surgeon until all 5 views are uploaded. This avoids the back-and-forth of "missing the occlusal view" that happens when you send loose screenshots over WhatsApp.
THE SURGEON SEES WHAT YOU SEE
The 5 views are presented to the surgeon in the same order and format. No WhatsApp compression, no quality loss. The surgeon evaluates exactly what you uploaded, in high resolution.
STEP 2
Upload designs to the case
From the case panel, you access the design module. Each view has its dedicated upload zone. Drag the image or select the file. The system accepts PNG, JPG and WebP in high resolution.

MANDATORY MINIMUM RESOLUTION
TrazaLab automatically rejects images with resolution below 1920px wide. The surgeon needs to zoom in to evaluate details — a compressed screenshot is not sufficient.
FREE UPLOAD ORDER
You can upload views in any order. The system tracks which ones are missing and shows your progress (3/5, 4/5...). The "Send to Surgeon" button only enables when all 5 are complete.
Tip: Export screenshots directly from your CAD/CAM software (exocad, 3Shape, DentalWings) without compressing. TrazaLab preserves the original quality and presents it to the surgeon in a high-resolution viewer with zoom.
STEP 3
Lab annotations
Before sending designs to the surgeon, TrazaLab gives you space to document your design decisions. Technical notes, recommendations, and points you want the surgeon to evaluate with special attention.
PROACTIVE COMMUNICATION
Lab annotations travel together with the designs. The surgeon sees them before evaluating the views. This reduces rejections caused by misunderstandings — because you already explained the design decisions.

ANNOTATIONS

GENERAL DESIGN NOTE
Framework designed with 6 support points. Distal extension to second premolar bilaterally due to limited interocclusal space in the molar zone. I recommend evaluating VDO at try-in before proceeding to final zirconia.
ATTENTION POINT
Occlusal contact on tooth 14 is at the limit of acceptable range. If the patient reports interference during try-in, consider occlusal adjustment of 0.2mm in that area.
RECOMMENDATION
Screw accesses positioned palatally on all teeth. Access on tooth 24 has a 15° angulation — within parameters but the surgeon should verify the trajectory is clinically viable.

PERMANENT RECORD
Annotations are permanently saved in the case history. If the surgeon approves and a problem arises later, your documented recommendation proves you warned about the critical point.
THREE ANNOTATION TYPES
General note: Design decisions and technical context. Attention point: Something the surgeon must evaluate with special care. Recommendation: Clinical suggestion based on your experience.
Difference vs. WhatsApp: On WhatsApp, your note gets lost among 200 messages. On TrazaLab, your annotation is linked to the case, the views, and the exact moment in the design flow. The surgeon sees it in context, not as loose text.
STEP 4
Approval cycle
Once you send designs with annotations, the surgeon receives a notification. They can approve, reject with annotations, or request specific changes. If rejected, TrazaLab manages versions automatically.

VERSION HISTORY
If the surgeon rejects the design, TrazaLab saves the rejected version with its annotations. When you upload the correction, a new version is created. The entire history is visible — what changed, why, and when.

Surgeon note: "Occlusal contact on tooth 14 looks high. Patient has nocturnal bruxism — I need minimal contact in that zone. Adjust and resend."

APPROVAL = DOCUMENTED AUTHORIZATION
When the surgeon approves, a record is created with date, time, and the exact approved version. This protects you: if the surgeon later says "I did not ask for that," you have the digitally signed approval.
TRACKABLE RESPONSE TIME
TrazaLab measures how long each surgeon takes to review designs. If a case has had no response for 48 hours, the system sends an automatic reminder. You see the status in real time without needing to call and ask.
Post-approval: The moment the surgeon approves, the case automatically advances to fabrication status. You do not need to move anything manually — TrazaLab manages the state transition.
