QUALITY STANDARD
Standard views per case
TrazaLab standardizes visual communication between lab and surgeon. Views depend on case type: fixed prosthesis on implants (Front Framework, Occlusal, Contacts, Tooth Design, Screw Access) and removable (Setup Frontal, Setup Occlusal, Bite Relation, Tooth Setup, Base Extension) have their own sets.
STANDARDIZED VISUAL PROTOCOL
Each view has a specific clinical purpose. The surgeon knows exactly where to look to evaluate each design aspect. No ambiguity, no "can you send another photo from another angle?"
1. FRAMEWORK FRONTAL
Framework structure frontal view. Verifies symmetry, extension, and lip support.
2. OCCLUSAL
Top/bottom view of the design. Verifies arch, contour, and transverse dimensions.
3. OCCLUSAL CONTACTS
Contact map with opposing arch. Verifies force distribution and contact points.
4. DENTAL DESIGN
Individual teeth with full anatomy. Verifies shape, proportion, and smile line.
5. SCREW ACCESS
Screw access positions. Verifies palatal/lingual placement and alignment with implants.
Standardization: Upload each view to its slot. You can send to the surgeon with at least one view uploaded — the surgeon will only see the views you uploaded, not the empty ones. Best practice is to upload the full set to avoid "missing the occlusal" pings on TrazaChat afterward.
THE SURGEON SEES WHAT YOU SEE
The views are presented to the surgeon in the same order and format. No WhatsApp compression, no quality loss. The surgeon evaluates exactly what you uploaded, in high resolution.
STEP 2
Upload designs to the case
From the case panel, you access the design module. Each view has its dedicated upload zone. Drag the image or select the file. The system accepts PNG, JPG and WebP in high resolution.

We continuously enhance the interface to deliver a premium experience. The view in your account may vary slightly.
MANDATORY MINIMUM RESOLUTION
Upload the native screenshot from your CAD/CAM software (exocad, 3Shape, DentalWings) without pre-compressing. TrazaLab preserves resolution and shows it to the surgeon in a zoom-capable viewer — the surgeon needs to zoom in to evaluate clinical detail.
FREE UPLOAD ORDER
You can upload views in any order. The "Send to Surgeon" button enables as soon as you upload at least one view; if you did not upload them all, TrazaLab warns you before sending — "You did not upload all views. The surgeon will only see the ones you uploaded."
Tip: Export screenshots directly from your CAD/CAM software (exocad, 3Shape, DentalWings) without compressing. TrazaLab preserves the original quality and presents it to the surgeon in a high-resolution viewer with zoom.
STEP 3
Cover note to the surgeon
Before sending designs, TrazaLab gives you a free-text field — the cover note for this round. Use it to document design decisions, clinical warnings, and anything the surgeon should read before evaluating the views. The note travels with the order and is kept in the case history.
PROACTIVE COMMUNICATION
The note travels with the designs, not as a loose chat message. The surgeon sees it before reviewing the views — you explain the design rationale BEFORE they reject by misunderstanding.

COVER NOTE FOR THIS ROUND
Framework with 6 support points. Distal extension to second premolar bilaterally due to limited interocclusal space. Screw access on 24 came out at 15° — within parameters but I wanted you to verify. Suggest evaluating VDO at try-in before final zirconia.
We continuously enhance the interface to deliver a premium experience. The view in your account may vary slightly.
PERMANENT RECORD
The note is permanently saved in the case history, tagged with the round when you sent it. If the surgeon approves and a problem arises later, your documented message proves what you warned them about and when.
WHERE THE SURGEON SEES IT
Your note appears in the header of the surgeon's review screen, above the views. It is not a TrazaChat message — it is a structural part of the send, tagged as "Cover note — Round N" with the timestamp.
Difference vs. WhatsApp: On WhatsApp, your note gets lost among 200 messages. On TrazaLab, your note is linked to the case, the round, and the views you sent. The surgeon sees it in context, not as loose text, and it stays in the permanent case record.
STEP 4
Approval cycle
Once you send designs with your cover note, the surgeon receives a notification. They can approve all views (the order advances to try-in milling) or reject the ones that need a change — each rejected view arrives in your queue with the numbered pins and surgeon notes. You adjust, re-upload, and send a new round.

ROUND CYCLE
Each set of views you send counts as a new round. If the surgeon rejects a view, you receive just that view flagged with the surgeon's numbered annotations and note. You upload the correction and the next round starts — the case logs how many rounds it took.

VIEW REJECTED: OCCLUSAL CONTACTS
Surgeon note (pin #1): "Occlusal contact on tooth 14 looks high. Patient has bruxism — I need minimal contact in that zone. Adjust and resend."

APPROVAL = DOCUMENTED AUTHORIZATION
When the surgeon approves, a record is created with date, time, and the exact approved version. This protects you: if the surgeon later says "I did not ask for that," you have the digitally signed approval.
REAL-TIME STATUS
While the case is in surgeon review, you see the live status in your pipeline — "In review", "View flagged", or "Approved for try-in milling". No calls to ask "did you see it?".
Post-approval: The moment the surgeon approves, the case automatically advances to fabrication status. You do not need to move anything manually — TrazaLab manages the state transition.
