My Profile: defaults that save time

Your profile is where you set the clinical preferences you would repeat on every order — implant brand, framework, material, screw access. The order wizard preloads them, and you change only what the case requires.

What autofills in the wizard

When you create a new order, the fields for implant brand, framework system, material, and screw access show up already selected with your defaults. Changing them costs one click; keeping them costs zero. Without defaults configured, every order starts with empty fields.

WHY IT MATTERS

If you do 4 orders a week and each default saves 15 seconds, that's ~50 hours a year. More importantly: fewer clicks means fewer errors. If your default is Straumann and you accidentally send Nobel one day, the lab asks — the default is your safety net.

THE DEFAULT DOES NOT OVERRIDE THE LAB

If your default is Nobel but the lab selected for this order does not work Nobel, the wizard warns you and offers the options that lab actually supports (from their Equipment & Materials catalog). The default does not force an impossible selection.

Recommended setup: Tweak it after your third order, not before. By then you know which combination you actually use in 80% of cases — that is your default. Before that, guessing is premature.

WHATSAPP: THE LATAM CHANNEL

If the lab sends you a design to review at 10pm Friday and you check email on Monday, the case loses two days. WhatsApp alerts you instantly. You configure the number (with country code) and choose which events you want on this channel — not all alerts go to WhatsApp, only the ones you select.

EVENTS YOU CAN FILTER

You do not have to receive everything. You pick what alerts you: design ready for review, lab sendback, urgent TrazaChat message, fabrication started, delivery ready. If you are coming out of surgery and do not want your phone buzzing every hour, you keep only "design ready" and "urgent".

DO NOT DISTURB SCHEDULE

Configure a quiet schedule (e.g., 9pm to 7am, weekends). During that window, alerts are queued and delivered when the workday opens. Notifications flagged as urgent by the lab can override the silence if you allow it.

Typical LATAM setup: In-app + email always on. WhatsApp on only for "design ready", "sendback", and "urgent". Quiet hours 10pm–7am with override for urgencies.

TrazaLab for surgeons is free in its base version — you can create orders, connect labs, use Photo Gates and receive designs at no cost. The extended plan adds pro tools (extended analytics, multi-clinic support, integrations).

WHAT THE FREE PLAN INCLUDES

Unlimited orders, connection with any lab, patient registry, per-case TrazaChat, Photo Gates on every field, File Center. No usage cap or trial period — the free plan is not a trial, it is the permanent base account.

WHEN THE EXTENDED PLAN IS WORTH IT

If you run more than one clinic with shared staff, if you need to export your data to external systems, or if you want detailed monthly reports of your lab activity. The extended plan is not auto-enabled either — it is a conscious decision when the free plan no longer fits.

REFERRAL PROGRAM

For each surgeon you invite who registers and stays active, you earn credit that applies to a future upgrade to the extended plan. The invite is sent from the Referrals tab in the profile with a personalized link.

Cancellation: Cancellation: If you decide to leave TrazaLab, your historical orders and files remain available via export for 90 days after closure. There is no penalty for canceling the extended plan — you revert to the free plan in the next billing cycle.
