Pricing: the base of your quotes
The price list feeds quotes, per-case billing, and surgeon comparisons. Without configured prices, quotes go out empty and billing does not close.

KPIs, filterable list, add and deactivate
In Settings » Pricing you have three KPIs at the top, category and status filters in the middle, and the item list with its current price. Each item can be activated, deactivated, or edited inline.

QUICK FILTERS
Category filters (crown, bridge, implant, veneer, removable) and status filters (active / inactive) shorten the list when you have many items. Text search finds items by name or keyword.
INLINE EDITING
Tap a price and it becomes editable directly in the list. Change the amount, press Enter, and the price is updated. The next quote uses the new value.
Inactive items: Inactive items are not deleted — they just stop appearing in new quotes. Useful for temporary prices (30-day promo) or paused capabilities (you ran out of material). Reactivating is one click; inactive items keep their history.
How the list is organized
Category + name + price
Each item in your list has three minimum fields: category (crown, bridge, implant…), descriptive name, and price. Optionally you can add variants by material or implant system.
CATEGORIES MATCH EQUIPMENT & MATERIALS
Pricing categories cross-reference your
Equipment & Materials catalog. Every capability active there should have at least one price here — otherwise the surgeon's quote comes back incomplete.
VARIANTS BY MATERIAL OR SYSTEM
Same category, different material or system = separate items. Example: Zirconia crown, Disilicate crown, Temporary PMMA crown. Each with its own price. That way the surgeon sees the difference and chooses themselves.
CURRENCY AND FORMAT
You set the currency in your lab profile (MXN, USD, EUR, COP, CLP, ARS…). The system auto-formats with the right separator for your country — you enter the number, TrazaLab displays "$ 4,800 MXN" or "$ 4,800.00 USD" as appropriate.
Recommended practice: Start with your 5-10 most frequent items. Do not try to load the full catalog on day one — add items as real cases come in. Evolving catalog > theoretical catalog.
What the system uses it for
Quotes, billing, and comparison
The price list is not a decorative catalog — it feeds three critical flows: the quotes the surgeon receives, billing when a case is completed, and visibility when the surgeon compares labs.
QUOTES (MAIN FLOW)
When a surgeon sends you a quote request for a case, the Quotes screen prefills with items from your list that apply to that category. You adjust (quantity, volume discounts, packs) and send. The quote lands in the surgeon's panel.
AUTOMATIC PER-CASE BILLING
When an order completes the flow and is delivered, TrazaLab already has the item, its price, and the linked case. The Billing view groups completed orders by month and by surgeon so monthly close does not require any manual tabulation.
SURGEON-FACING VISIBILITY
The surgeon sees a price range when browsing labs — not item-by-item detail, but an order of magnitude. This visibility is optional (you turn it on or off from your lab profile); when active, it differentiates you from closed labs that force the surgeon to call to find out.
Capability without a price = invisible capability: If in Equipment & Materials you activate Feldspathic veneer but you do not give it a price, the surgeon cannot get a quote on it — it shows up in the order form but the quote returns "no price configured". Activating and pricing are two steps of the same flow.
