LAB GUIDE
Growth: your lab as a business
Four tools in one section: Portfolio (your calling card), Connections (relationship health with surgeons), Pitch (digital proposal), and Real Cost (calculator vs. cheap labs). All fed by the clean data you already have on TrazaLab.

Calling card for surgeons
The portfolio is your showcase inside TrazaLab: completed cases with clinical photos, organized by category, that an interested surgeon can browse before deciding to connect with you. The difference vs. a generic Instagram is that every case is verified — the real order, real surgeon, real delivery date all exist.
We continuously enhance the interface to deliver a premium experience. The view in your account may vary slightly.
Why it matters for your business: When a new surgeon hunts for a lab, they filter by capability and visually compare. Your portfolio is the first closing factor: if the surgeon sees verified cases from your lab that resemble theirs, the rest of the conversation shifts. Without a portfolio, any lab with declared capability looks the same as yours.
Health of relationship with surgeons
Surgeons in four buckets
Every connected surgeon is automatically classified by recent activity. The goal is to see at a glance who is active, who is cooling off, who is dormant, and who is new — so you act before losing accounts.
ACTIVE — more than 1 case in 30 days
8
AT RISK — no case in 30-60 days
3
DORMANT — no case in more than 90 days
2
NEW — connected in the last 30 days

AT RISK — ACT TODAY
A surgeon who went from 4 cases a month to zero in 5 weeks is sending a signal. Before they leave for another lab: open TrazaChat with them, ask if everything is OK, offer to adjust prices or shorten lead times. The conversation arrives before the loss.
DORMANT — SOMETIMES THEY RECOVER
Not all dormant surgeons are lost. Some went through a slow season, changed clinic, or long vacation. A short message every 90 days ("hi Dr., letting you know we refreshed materials") puts you back on their radar without pressure. The difference between dormant and lost is having asked.
NEW — FIRST IMPRESSION COUNTS DOUBLE
A surgeon who just connected is evaluating your lab on their first case. If the first order goes flawlessly (fast validation, no needless sendbacks, design approved on the first round, on-time delivery), you earn the account for months. If it starts with friction, the surgeon goes back to their previous lab.
Recommended cadence: Recommended cadence: review Connection Health every Monday. Monday morning is the best moment for check-in messages: the surgeon opens the week reviewing cases and is receptive. Skipping the review one week is forgivable; skipping it a month costs you accounts.
Digital proposal
Auto-generated pitch
Instead of building a PDF every time you prospect a new surgeon, TrazaLab generates two pitch types from data already in your account. Precision Pitch (always available) and Data-Driven Pitch (unlocks once you accumulate cases).
We continuously enhance the interface to deliver a premium experience. The view in your account may vary slightly.
When to use each: When to use each: Precision Pitch for the initial meeting when the surgeon does not know TrazaLab. Data-Driven Pitch for closing when the surgeon already understands the system and is comparing vendors. Sending the data-driven one to someone who does not understand the flow is premature; sending the precision one to someone who already gets it is not reading the room.
Calculator vs. cheap lab
Real Cost: the argument against the discount
This calculator resolves the most common objection: "the other lab charges less". The logic is to show the surgeon the total cost — case price + remake cost + coordination time — instead of the headline price. Most of the time, the cheap lab costs more in the end.
HOW IT WORKS
You enter the competitor lab's nominal price, their estimated remake rate, and the surgeon's time cost per lost session. The calculator sums everything and returns the competitor's real cost per case — comparable directly with your price without remakes. The final number changes the conversation.
FOR THE PRICE-ONLY-COMPARING SURGEON
Not for everyone. If the surgeon values clinical quality and traceability, real cost is a confirming argument. If they only compare nominal price and do not care about remakes, no calculation will convince them — and probably they are not your customer. The calculator helps you qualify as well.
INCLUDED IN THE PITCH
The calculation is added automatically to the data-driven pitch when you generate it for a specific surgeon. It is not a separate tool you have to remember — it shows up as a pitch section when the numbers justify it.
Honest use: Honest use: the calculator is for reflecting reality, not inflating artificial numbers. If your remake rate is not better than the competitor's, do not use Real Cost — the surgeon will verify and you lose credibility. The tool only serves when the numbers in TrazaLab back you up.
