ODONTOGRAMA

Visual interactive dental chart

32 teeth, 7 classifications, zero ambiguity. A visual map where each tooth has a defined role, each bridge has validated structure, and each classification eliminates a lab question.

The tool that replaces text descriptions
A dental map, not a text field
The interactive odontogram is built directly into the order wizard. Instead of writing "preparation on tooth 14, pontic on 15," the surgeon clicks the tooth and assigns a visual classification. The lab receives a complete dental chart alongside all clinical data.
CORE PRINCIPLE
Each tooth has a defined role. Each bridge has validated structure. Each classification eliminates a lab question. The odontogram is not a complement — it is the foundation of the prescription.

Here is the complete flow:

Ambiguity in lab communication
Key fact: Text descriptions of dental pieces are the main source of misunderstandings between surgeon and lab. The visual odontogram eliminates subjective interpretation — the technician sees exactly what the surgeon selected.
REPLACES TEXT WITH CLICKS
No more writing lists of dental pieces. No more confusion between FDI and Universal. The odontogram is a visual, clickable chart where each dental piece is registered with absolute precision.
How to select and classify teeth
7 classifications, color-coded
Each selected tooth receives a clinical classification. Colors enable instant visual recognition — both for the surgeon prescribing and the technician fabricating.

Implant
Piece on osseointegrated implant
Pontic
Suspended piece in a bridge
Abutment
Bridge support tooth
Extraction
Tooth scheduled for extraction
Missing
Tooth already extracted or not present

QUICK SELECTION
Click a tooth to select it. Click again to cycle through classifications. For batch operations, use multi-select: select multiple teeth and assign the same classification to all at once.
ADULT VS PEDIATRIC MODE
The Adult/Pediatric toggle switches the odontogram between 32 permanent teeth and 20 deciduous teeth. Numbering and layout adjust automatically.
FDI VS UNIVERSAL NOTATION
Choose between the FDI system (international standard, two digits) and the Universal system (American numbering, 1-32). The odontogram displays the selected notation on each piece and the order travels with both systems to avoid confusion.
Key fact: The colors are not decorative — they are functional. A technician can scan the odontogram in 3 seconds and understand the complete case structure without reading a single line of text.
Visual bridge planning
Bridge Mode: validated structure
Bridge mode lets you visually define which teeth are abutments and which are pontics. The system draws connector lines automatically and validates that the structure has adequate support.
ACTIVATE BRIDGE MODE
The Bridge ON/OFF toggle activates bridge mode. When active, the odontogram enters bridge selection mode: select the abutment teeth at the ends and the pontics in the center.

AUTOMATIC VALIDATION
The system verifies that abutment teeth can support the bridge span. If the abutment-to-pontic ratio is not viable, the odontogram shows a warning before confirmation. This prevents design errors before they reach the lab.
VISUAL CONNECTORS
Connection lines are drawn automatically between bridge teeth. The surgeon sees the complete structure before confirming, and the lab receives that same visual representation alongside the prescription.
Key fact: Bridge data travels to the lab as an integral part of the prescription. The technician does not have to mentally reconstruct the structure from text — they see it directly in the odontogram.
MULTIPLE BRIDGES PER ORDER
A single order can contain multiple independent bridges. Each bridge is defined separately with its own abutments and pontics, and all appear in the odontogram with differentiated connectors.
How it connects with the order
The odontogram IS the prescription
It is not a separate step. Teeth selected and classified in the odontogram directly populate the prescription fields. Each tooth classification determines which sections appear in the form.

CONDITIONAL SECTIONS BY CLASSIFICATION

IMPLANT → BRAND/SIZE SELECTOR
Appears only if teeth are classified as implant
PREPARATION → MARGIN TYPE

IMPLANTS: INTELLIGENT ACTIVATION
When a tooth is classified as Implant, the form automatically activates the implant brand and size selector. The surgeon does not have to search for the section manually — it appears because the odontogram requires it.
THE LAB SEES EVERYTHING
The lab receives the visual odontogram map alongside all clinical data. It is not a static PDF — it is an interactive representation where the technician can click each piece and see its classification, associated data, and bridge structure.
Key fact: The odontogram is not an additional step in the prescription flow — it IS the prescription flow. Everything the surgeon selects visually automatically becomes the structured fields the lab needs to fabricate.
STRUCTURED DATA, NOT FREE TEXT
Each selection in the odontogram generates structured data: tooth number, classification, bridge membership, FDI and Universal notation. This allows the lab to automate their workflow instead of interpreting free text.
